Earn your Ivy College of Business master of healthcare analytics and operations (MHAO) degree at the same time you’re earning your bachelor of business analytics degree (BUAN) at Iowa State University through our concurrent program. Designed to be completed in five academic years, the program includes four years of undergraduate coursework and one year of MHAO courses taken alongside your remaining undergraduate classes.

This program is ideal for undergraduates looking to gain a competitive edge in the healthcare industry. You will develop essential skills in healthcare data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), data visualization, large-scale data management, healthcare compliance, and operations improvement. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning through case studies and exercises taught by internationally recognized faculty.

Graduates are well prepared for roles in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, health insurance, compliance, fraud investigation, and more. Elective options allow you to strengthen programming and data mining skills, explore supply chain and healthcare operations, and develop leadership skills for interprofessional healthcare teams.

Admission to the concurrent program is competitive. Successful candidates demonstrate superior academic ability, strong leadership attributes, and clear career focus.

Admitted students typically have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.
